Ahhh the Gran Melia in Cancun, Mexico. It is a serene, uplifting hotel that sure beats the crazy, kid-filled resort we switched from. You see, our trip back in April was anything but relaxing. We sat on a 2 hour flight for 8 hours, spent extra money to stay in a hotel overnight in Atlanta, and bonded with other passengers over the frustration of Delta Airlines. Chris and I vowed to never stray from our beloved Continental ever again! The only positive things about this trip were the guy at the Delta ticket counter in Cancun (much more accomodating than in the states) and this hotel. It's a bit more upscale than we would have normally been able to afford, but every penny was worth the Zen feeling and good night's rest on an AWESOME bed! Give them a shot when you travel to Cancun. I recommend it!
