So I ran across this picture while doing some window shopping online. A few years ago I went visit my friend Dan in Las Vegas. We're both TV news people and have stayed friends since the day we met. He took me to the Hoover Dam and pointed out this bridge as he was zooming through some of the most curvy roads through mountains I've ever been on...I thought death was imminent! I can't believe how far up they had this thing from Mother Earth. This mammoth is 1,900 feet long. For you Texans who think in football yards that over 5 football fields. It is 840 feet above the river...almost 3 football fields above the water. That might not seem like a lot, but rest assure, it;s a lot. Oh I wonder if they'll have bungie jumping off it!
